* Enjoy a brighter look from the moment you wake up.

* Smudged lipstick is a thing of the past. Enjoy perfect lip color and definition while at the pool, sauna, gym, and on the beach.
HEALING

Healing process - this is what you might expect during the healing phase:

* RIGHT AFTER:

- Lips will be swollen, feel sore and color will appear brighter and bolder. Redness around the lips can be present.

* DAY 1

- What you see is about 50% darker, bolder and more solid than what your healed result will present. Swelling should subside by now.

* DAY 2 - 3

- Lip will feel dry & might start cracking slightly on the surface. Your lips may begin to peel and the pigment may appear somewhat raised. You will see a loss of color where the scabs come off.

* DAY 4 - 6

- The skin is now in the throes of rapid exfoliation and if left alone, will shed evenly the color under the exfoliating skin will continue to appear light until the epidermis takes on its more transparent characteristics.
* DAY 30 - 40

* Every individual is different and this approximate timeline is just that, an approximate and can vary from person to person.

When you leave the appointment, your lips will be intact and we will do our best to help you heal properly. Your lifestyle choices, age, genetics, and skin type will contribute to the retention of your pigment. If you use sun-beds, sunbathe, don’t use sun protection, smoke, use anti-aging creams or acidic cleansers, your lips WILL fade faster and you’ll need to come earlier for your refresh touch ups.

Cosmetic tattoo is an art, not a science. Your results will vary and using lip makeup may still be needed, especially when wearing heavy coverage makeup. This is not necessarily a no maintenance treatment, but a low maintenance treatment. No two sides of the face are the same or perfectly symmetrical and whilst trying to obtain perfect symmetry is my goal, nothing is guaranteed or 100% perfect.

Yes, as long as you prepare yourself by taking a prescription antiviral cold sore medication prescribed by your doctor. Without taking this precaution, the procedure may cause a flare up, even if the last time you had cold sores when you were a kid. They are caused by the herpes simplex virus. This virus is very common, an estimated 3.7 billion people under age 50 (67%) have HSV-1 infection globally so it is always advices to take antiviral medications before any lip tattoo procedures.

What is the difference between "lip blush" tattoo and "lipstick effect" lip tattoo?

“Lip Blush” tattoo also knows as “Watercolor/Aquarelle Lips” lips technique will enhance the natural beauty of the lips by slightly improving the lip size, definition, color and by correcting the shape. There are many colors to choose from ranging from natural tints to vibrant colors. Lip blush tattoo brings back your natural lip contour. Just add a little clear lip balm and your lips will look subtle & natural, just like your own lips but better. It will not look like you are wearing a lipstick, lip stain at most. There is no separate outline. Since there is a lot less pigment implanted in the skin, annual touch-ups are recommended to keep the color from fading.

“Lipstick effect” will give you more saturated color, more defined shape and will look like you are wearing a lipstick all the time. Color can be light and natural (which will give you more options if you like to wear a different lipstick color over the tattoo sometimes) or bold and bright (pinks, reds, etc). Since the pigment is more saturated this technique will last longer than a lip blush tattoo. Annual touch-ups could be done every 2 years or even longer for some clients.

What is the lip touch-up and why do i need one?

Touch up is a follow up procedure which takes place a minimum six weeks after your initial visit, after your skin is fully healed.

How much work you will need on a touch up will depend on several factors such as:Your desired results

Your body’s healing capabilities, and ability to retain pigment

Your dedication to following post procedure instructions
