I fell in love with permanent makeup in 2016 after spending more than five years working as a makeup artist for brands like Sephora, MAC Cosmetics, and Bloomingdale's. While I loved the beauty industry, I didn't love working nights, weekends, and holidays or missing time with my family after becoming a new mom. I knew I wanted a career that offered both creativity and freedom.

When I enrolled in PMU school, I quickly realized how disappointing the education was. The training lacked structure, the equipment was poor quality, there were no proper live models, and I left with a license—but nowhere near the confidence to work on real clients.

Instead of giving up, I invested in myself. I spent the next several years traveling across the United States, Ukraine, and Ireland, training with some of the industry's best artists and investing over $30,000 in advanced education to truly master my craft.

Those experiences shaped the way I teach today.

I created Re:Pigment.Me Academy because I never wanted another beginner to feel the way I did after graduating—licensed, but completely unprepared. My goal is to give every student the education, hands-on experience, confidence, and ongoing support I wish I had received when I started.
